We offer a 30-day return and refund policy for items purchased from our website, ChicXMist.com. You can return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Please review the specific conditions outlined below.


2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • Return Window: Returns must be requested within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • Condition of Items: The items must be unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition as when they were received, including all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and documentation.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase, such as your order number or receipt, must accompany the return.
  • Return Authorization: You must contact us to initiate a return request. We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions on how to return the item.

Items that do not meet the return conditions, such as products that are used, altered, or damaged, will not be accepted for returns.


3. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return, including but not limited to:

  • Products that have been installed or used.
  • Custom or special orders made according to your specifications.
  • Gift cards or items marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase.
  • Products that have been altered, damaged, or used in any way after delivery.

4. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  2. Return Authorization: Once your return request is reviewed, we will send you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number along with detailed instructions for returning the product.
  3. Package the Item: Carefully package the item in its original packaging to prevent damage during return shipping. Ensure that all components, accessories, and manuals are included.
  4. Ship the Item Back: Send the item to the provided return address. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to a mistake on our part (e.g., defective items or wrong product sent).
  5. Tracking Number: We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items over $75. ChicXMist cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking.

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If your return is approved, we will process the refund to your original payment method. Refunds may take 5-7 business days to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

Refunds will be issued for the cost of the product only, excluding the original shipping costs unless the return was due to our error (e.g., defective or incorrect item).


6. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different model, size, or color, please follow the return process outlined above. Once the original item is returned and refunded, you can place a new order for the desired product.

Exchanges are subject to availability and must be processed within the 30-day return window.


7. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will provide you with a pre-paid return shipping label and a full refund or exchange for the defective or incorrect item.

To expedite this process, please provide:

  • A detailed description of the issue
  • Photos or videos showing the defect or incorrect item

We will cover the cost of return shipping for defective or incorrect products, and we will either send you a replacement item or issue a full refund.


8. Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Orders that have already been processed or shipped cannot be canceled. If you cancel an order before it ships, you will receive a full refund.


9. Restocking Fee

A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to returns for non-defective items. This fee will be deducted from your refund amount. Restocking fees are charged for returns that are due to customer preference, such as ordering the wrong product.


10. Shipping Costs for Returns

Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to a mistake on our part (such as sending the wrong item or a defective product). If you receive an incorrect or defective product, we will cover the cost of return shipping.

For exchanges, the customer is responsible for both the return shipping costs and any additional shipping fees for the replacement item.


11. International Returns

If you are returning an international order, you are responsible for all return shipping fees and customs duties. Refunds for international orders will only be processed after the returned items are received and inspected.
